Ten Years of Collective Advocacy.
A Journey of Continuous Evolution.
DNA
Our mission over the past ten years
Ten years have passed since the founding of Goethe Avocats, driven by a
clearly stated ambition: to offer investors in managed real estate a
rigorous defense, conducted with consistency and determination.
From the very beginning, the firm has been structured around a deeply collective vision, convinced that a unified effort gives legal action decisive strength.
Today, backed by our experience in representing more than 30,000 investors and a substantial track record of favorable outcomes, our journey confirms the solid expertise we have patiently built.
A Multidisciplinary and Dedicated Team
Composed of the founding attorney, Bertrand de Campredon, who is closely supported by three associate attorneys who have been with the firm since its inception and are set to become partners, the Goethe Avocats team is one of the firm’s greatest assets. In addition to this core group, the firm brings together attorneys and legal assistants with complementary skills, combining broad versatility with rare expertise in a niche area: class action litigation. This recognized specialization has made Goethe Avocats a benchmark in the field and one of the most sought-after firms in the market.
The Goethe Avocats Method
As pioneers in a market that was still largely unstructured, we had to blaze a trail, explore the realm of possibilities, and define its boundaries. This led us to build our own expertise, design tailored tools, and then gradually refine them through experimentation and constant engagement with the field. Now fully developed, the Goethe Avocats method is formalized within a structured process that brings together all of our best practices.
Development—The 360 Approach
A clear niche positioning from day one
Investors have been protected since the firm's founding
Of which 15 are dedicated to protecting investors in managed real estate
Goethe Attorneys for 10 Years
We founded the firm to represent investors in the managed real estate sector. This niche practice, approached from a collective perspective, is the stance we adopted from the very beginning and from which we have never deviated. It was developed empirically in a sector that was virtually uncharted from a legal standpoint.
Defending an individual investor against a property owner, a bank, or a real estate developer is less effective than defending a group. Our collective approach allows us to have more leverage in negotiations, share costs, and establish legal precedents that benefit everyone.
The near-bankruptcy of one of Europe’s leading tourism companies (3,500 investors represented), the bankruptcy of one of the major players in the student sector (1,500 people assisted), the renovation of a former hospital into a luxury hotel in northern France, which had been abandoned mid-construction: these projects, of exceptional scale and technical complexity, fully illustrate the scope and complexity of the situations we are capable of managing.
