The Royal Hainaut Spa & Resort Hotel in Valenciennes (59) will open its doors in late May 2019, and the news has been met with relief by investors who have purchased rooms or suites under the MH (Historic Monument) tax exemption program.
This project, often described as the largest restoration of a historic monument in France, has transformed the former Valenciennes General Hospital into a luxury hotel.
The law firm Goethe Avocats has advised the Association Syndicale Libre—which represents the hotel’s co-owners—for nearly three years and is pleased to have helped ensure that the hotel’s opening, which was once in jeopardy, can finally take place.
Goethe Avocats wishes the hotel’s operator the best of luck.
